Gridbots’ robotic Titan tank-killer showcased

Gridbots Technologies Pvt Ltd showcased their Titan autonomous tank killer at DEFEXPO 2022.

Titan is a high capacity multi utility combat vehicle which can autonomously perform multiple types of operations in the battle field without any human assistance or intervention thereby minimizing the risk for the infantry and enhancing their capabilities on ground operations.

It can be used by homeland security units in the case of riots – by police units in high threat and counter terrorist urban environment scenarios.

Titan is used for unmanned and autonomous conduct of silent real-time day and night surveillance, can support weapons mount, situational awareness, casualty evacuation, carriage and delivery of operational loads in Deserts, Plains and High Altitude / Mountain terrain.

Titan is armed with Amogha III anti-tank guided missile developed by Bharat Dynamics Ltd that gives it the capability to target tanks in top attack and direct attack mode from 2.5km range.

The Titan has a top speed of 30 kmph and its sensors help in detecting heat signatures of the enemy tanks at 20 kms.

High altitude trials of the Titan were underway.
